Web & brand design
I have always been passionate about helping people strengthen their online presence. Over the years I've worked with a range of people from artists & small businesses to energy service companies, ensuring solutions stay efficient, engaging and modern.
Search-specific booking
This 2024 project involved creating a variation of the newly redesigned Appointedd booking tool. Instead of presenting the customer with available options, we put them in control: starting the booking flow based on their ideal location, date & time.
Working with internal product team, client and external agency, I lead the design of search component & booking popover - branching from the design system crafted over the previous 2 years.
This project had tight deadlines to coincide with the US-wide www.goodfeet.com website launch.
Microsoft 365
I'm currently a System Analyst, creating business solutions within a M365 tenant. Using Powershell, Power Platform and AI, I create improvements across all business areas, and ensure the business stays connected and protected.
Booking tool UX redesign
As the UX designer on a team of 4, tasked with rebuilding the core booking tools on a new tech stack, I conducted user research throughout and designed with an accessibility-and-mobile-first approach. My design outputs included VPAT, design system, functional documentation and UAT.
Being such a big project covering Appointedd's extensive and connected features, the project retro highlighted that dev cycles would have had better momentum if there were clearer milestones in place.
Within the first month post-launch, metrics showed conversion rates increasing 2X alongside positive feedback about the modernised, customisable UI.
Chrome extension
I enjoyed this project in 2022, when I was a newly qualified UX designer, because designing a Chrome extension was a completely new format for me. The extension connects candidates to the recruiter's Firefish SaaS database. I mapped out user needs, journey flows & wireframes within existing design and technical constraints.
Logo designs
Over the past 20 years I've created logos for a range of clients from solo artists to international businesses.
Mapbox
As a personal project, I made a food-related interactive map using Mapbox GL JS, based on my 6-month bike trip across Asia.
